Tuesday Morning Pottery Class

A 12-week Tuesday morning pottery course at SkandiHus's De Beauvoir studio covering hand building, wheel throwing, decoration and glazing for all levels.

This 12-week course runs on Tuesday mornings from 15 December 2026 to 9 March 2027, with no class on 29 December. Each week focuses on a different technique, spanning hand building, wheel throwing, surface decoration and glazing, with plenty of time for practice and experimentation. It is suitable for complete beginners through to intermediate makers, and all materials are provided, with clay charged at £5 per kg for firing. Teaching is by Naemi Miyazu, a ceramics practitioner with a background in apparel design who trained in Kyoto.
