Tuesday Evening Pottery Class

A six-week all-levels Tuesday evening pottery course at SkandiHus's De Beauvoir studio covering hand building, wheel throwing, decoration and glazing.

This six-week course at SkandiHus's De Beauvoir studio teaches pottery skills from hand building and wheel throwing to surface decoration and glazing, and is open to complete beginners and intermediate makers alike. Each week focuses on a different technique, with plenty of time for practice and experimentation. All materials are provided, including buff stoneware clay, tools, slips and in-house glazes, with firing charged at £5 per kilo. The class is taught by Linda Barck, a Swedish ceramicist with an MA in Ceramics and Glass from the Royal College of Art.
