Friends of Masham School and the Swinton Estate present a forest trail at Swinton Bivouac. The story follows Harry the hedgehog as he gets ready to hibernate and looks for Holly Hedgehog, taking visitors to Druids Temple and along the Sycamore Trail. Local artist Sori Abbot created the characters; schoolchildren named them, tested the route and painted props. Tickets are £5 per child, with a prize for each child on return to Bivouac Café; the ticket also includes entry to a raffle. The published run is 19 October 2026 through 31 January 2027. The listing advises visitors to check the café’s winter opening times; operator hours vary seasonally.
