About

A New Year's Eve concert at The Bridgewater Hall celebrating 1980s and 1990s pop, rock, funk and soul hits with West End vocalists and a live band.

Simply The Best is a New Year's Eve concert marking the greatest hits of the 1980s and 1990s, performed by a full live band with West End soloists hosted by Miranda Wilford and musically directed by Toby Cruse. The setlist includes songs associated with Tina Turner, David Bowie, Madonna, Dolly Parton, Lulu and Rick Astley, alongside favourites from 30 years of concerts at the hall. The concert also doubles as filming for audience vox pops and atmosphere footage for the venue's marketing.
