About

A special exhibition in the High Barn traces how people in Ryedale grew, raised, baked and brewed food, with stories of local bakers, beekeeping and Yorkshire pudding.

The exhibition follows food from field to table through local stories: Sonley bakers in Kirkbymoorside, recipes associated with museum founder Hannah Crosland, local brewing and bottling, pig and poultry keeping, beekeeping, and Yorkshire pudding. It is included with museum admission. The official exhibition page dates the run 9 March–29 November 2026.
