Swainby Village Hall Repair Cafe

A volunteer-run repair cafe where people bring broken household items to fix alongside repairers, with free refreshments.

Stokesley and Villages Repair Café hosts a repair cafe at Swainby Village Hall, held on the third Saturday of alternate months. Visitors bring items such as clothing, bicycles, electrical appliances, furniture, laptops and smartphones, and volunteer repairers work with them to fix them while sharing repair skills. The session aims to extend the life of belongings, reduce landfill waste and cut carbon emissions, and free refreshments including Fair Trade treats are available.
