Ulverston Repair Cafe

Volunteer-run free repair cafe where people bring electricals, jewellery, zips and furniture to be fixed, with refreshments available.

The Ulverston Repair Cafe opens for an evening of free repairs at Croftlands Community Centre, with volunteers tackling everything from electricals and jewellery to zips and furniture. Visitors are encouraged to bring spare parts if they know what is needed, and to back up devices and bring leads beforehand. The session tends to be busiest in its first hour, and microwaves are not accepted for safety reasons. Tea, coffee and refreshments are available at reasonable prices, and donations help cover the group's costs.
