About

A friendly, informal reminiscence morning exploring local writers and bookshops, inspired by the Being Human Festival theme.

This Reminiscence Morning focuses on Writing Lives at the Cross-roads, inspired by the Being Human Festival theme. The session looks at local author Mark Rutherford (William Hale White) and anti-apartheid campaigner Father Trevor Huddleston, and invites attendees to reminisce about Bedford's local bookshops including Wildman's, Hockliffe's and Eagle bookshop. It is part of a series of free, drop-in reminiscence coffee mornings held on Thursdays, with refreshments available for £1 and no need to book.
