Becky Falls 2026 Season

A family day out at Becky Falls Ancient Woodland Park in Dartmoor, exploring woodland trails, a 70ft waterfall, a small zoo and animal discovery zone.

Visitors can explore over 50 acres of ancient woodland and streams at Becky Falls, a Site of Special Scientific Interest in a valley carved out during the last Ice Age. Three marked trails lead through the park: the gentler Blue Trail with a Children's Nature Challenge, the Red Trail to the main 70ft waterfall, and the rugged Purple Trail with views of the lower falls. The park also has a small zoo with animals from meerkats and giant tortoises to goats and ponies, plus a café and gift shop. The trails are natural and uneven, so a fair level of fitness and confidence underfoot is needed; dogs are welcome.
