Night of the Dead – Zombie Survival Challenge

A zombie survival challenge at Dartmoor Zoo where participants navigate the grounds, complete trials and reach Base Camp while evading zombies.

Dartmoor Zoo hosts an immersive zombie apocalypse experience in which participants must make their way through the zoo grounds to reach a safe Base Camp, guided by a radio call and cryptic clues. Along the route they face trials testing knowledge, survival instincts and nerves while encountering zombies, collecting supplies and delivering a secret password. Each participant carries two 'lifelines' whose survival determines their success level, with prizes awarded accordingly. After the challenge, Base Camp offers food, drinks and mementos; the event runs on 23, 24, 30 and 31 October 2026.
