A free weekend hackathon at Oxford's Mathematical Institute where teams build neurotechnology prototypes spanning neuroscience, AI and medical tech.
The first Oxford Neurotech Hackathon runs over the weekend of 7–8 November 2026 at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. Teams of up to five work on challenges across neuroscience, AI, computation, medical technology and human health, turning ideas into prototypes and experiments. Participants build alongside neuroscientists, engineers, clinicians, computer scientists, designers and entrepreneurs, and both first-time and experienced hackathon attendees are welcome. Registration is free but subject to host approval.
