About

Anne Enright and Doireann Ní Ghríofa discuss how Irish writing carries, recovers and reshapes stories from the past, in conversation with literary journalist Alex Clark.

This opening session of the first full day of the Irish Writers’ Weekend examines how writers preserve or recreate voices that have been overlooked across time. Anne Enright and Doireann Ní Ghríofa will discuss these themes with Alex Clark.
