About
Family activities at The D-Day Story exploring how weather forecasting shaped D-Day, with demonstrations, crafts and handling collections.
Inspired by the film 'Pressure', these half-term activities explore how Group Captain James Stagg's weather forecast for D-Day was one of the most important in history. Families can discover how clouds, rain and wind are created through practical activities and demonstrations, plus weather-themed crafts. Visitors can also explore handling collections, try on replica Second World War uniforms, and there are toys and games for under 5s.
