Inclusive Climbing Event
About
A monthly inclusive climbing club at The Ledge in Inverness offering supported, adaptive climbing sessions for ages 15 and over.
Equal Adventure hosts a monthly inclusive climbing club at The Ledge Climbing Wall in Inverness, offering a calm, supportive introduction to climbing with adaptive equipment and supportive instructors. The day runs in two small-group sessions: a supported rope climbing session for trunk and arm performers (11:30am–12:30pm, maximum 4 participants) and a stood climbers session (1:30pm–3:00pm, maximum 8 participants), with registration, meet-and-greet and a relaxed lunch break in between. Open to ages 15 and over, with no previous experience needed; friends, families and support workers are welcome. The programme is funded by The National Lottery Fund and supported by the British Science Association and the Wellcome Trust.
