Repair Cafe Cardiff, Whitchurch

Volunteers run a free monthly Repair Café where the community can bring small household items to be fixed while enjoying a coffee and a chat.

A team of volunteers runs a Repair Café on the third Saturday of every month at Whitchurch Hub, repairing small household items such as lamps, hoovers, power tools, clothing, ornaments and jewellery, with basic bicycle maintenance in summer. Visitors can watch the repair, learn how to fix items themselves, and enjoy a coffee and a chat while they wait. Microwaves and televisions are not accepted. The service is free, with cash donations welcomed, and the group is also seeking new volunteers as fixers, front-desk staff, hosts and tea makers.
