A free monthly series of participatory family music performances for children aged 3-8 and their families, held in the Gallery Foyer.
Musical Picnics are relaxed, participatory music performances for children, parents and families, with a different line-up of musicians and artists each month. The programme spans styles from flamenco and folk to beatboxing, opera, sitars, jazz guitars and electronics. Sessions last 90 minutes, suit children aged 3 to 8 best, and everyone from babies to grandparents is welcome.
