About

A Christmas display in Petworth House’s state rooms uses woodland scenes, stars, moonlight and nature-inspired arrangements.

Visitors can follow a festive route through the grand state rooms and see winter scenes inspired by nature. The display is open daily from 28 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, 10.30am–4pm, except 24 and 25 December when the House is closed. The Beauty Room and Grand Stairs are closed for conservation during the Christmas period; a quiet space is available. The House is reached by a roughly 700-metre gravel path from the main car park, with a mobility buggy on request.
