Follow a lantern trail through Wakehurst’s winter landscape, with handcrafted lantern artworks, illuminated environments, immersive music and performance, the Mansion projection and Christmas corner. Advance booking is essential. Entry slots start at 16:00 for relaxed sessions and 16:15 for standard entry; final entry varies by date. The FAQ lists garden closing at 21:00 on 26 November and Christmas Eve; 21:30 on off-peak dates, including 1 January; 22:00 on standard dates; and 22:15 on peak dates. The member-preview page gives 26 November hours as 16:00–22:00, while the FAQ says 21:00 close and 19:30 last entry; check the booked ticket for that date. Relaxed sessions begin at 16:00; reduced-sensory sessions are listed at 16:00 on 29 Nov, 4 Dec, 9 Dec, 17 Dec and 1 Jan. Adult-only slots are listed at 20:00 and 20:15 on 11, 12, 18 and 19 December. The member preview is an early-access variant of this same trail production. Qualifying essential-companion tickets accompany a paid adult, child or family ticket; a child’s carer qualifies where the child has a disability or long-term illness, and documentation may be required. All guests, including under 4s, need a ticket; under 18s are accompanied by an adult. Member prices cover up to six people; adult groups of 7–20 receive 10% off.
