Music for Wind Octet

The BSO Wind Ensemble performs wind octets by Gipps and Beethoven alongside works by Mozart, Dvořák, Debussy, Zemlinsky, Ibert and Price at Gillingham School.

The BSO Wind Ensemble presents a chamber programme centred on wind octets by Ruth Gipps and Beethoven, alongside extracts from Mozart's Don Giovanni including the Overture. The programme also features Dvořák's Slavonic Dance Op.46 No.8, Debussy's solo flute Syrinx, Zemlinsky's Humoreske: Rondo, Ibert's Three Short Pieces for Wind Instruments, and Florence Price's Adoration in an arrangement for wind players. The concert takes place at Gillingham School at 6pm.
