The Witch Trials

An immersive theatre experience by Chronic Insanity hidden throughout Nottingham's Samhain Pagan Market, where visitors can influence a story of witches and the Headless Horseman.

Chronic Insanity present an immersive theatre production staged throughout the Samhain Pagan Market at Sneinton Market. The story follows the Headless Horseman hunting witches as supernatural beings emerge amid the chaos of the market. Attendees can watch the action unfold across the day or take part in quests — sabotaging the Horseman, helping the witches evade capture, or influencing the trial — to shape the story's outcome. The experience runs from midday to 6pm and serves as an early taste of an upcoming project from the company, whose previous show Apple of Discord sold out.
