Spooky evening Ghost Train rides at Blunsdon Station over Halloween weekend, with costumed actors and food from the Whistle Stop Cafe.
The Swindon and Cricklade Railway runs its Halloween Ghost Train across two evenings, with departures from 17:00 to 21:00 and tickets bought on arrival — no advance booking needed. Rides include chances to meet ghosts, skeletons, witches and other spooky characters, with live actors in costume and makeup giving scares, so parental guidance is advised. A resident diesel locomotive hauls the Friday night train, while Saturday's service is hauled by steam locomotive 'Lady Lisa'. The Whistle Stop Cafe will be open serving themed food, and services are subject to change at short notice.
