Swanage Railway's Halloween Ghost Trains return for 2026, pairing a heritage train journey through the Purbeck countryside with mysterious encounters, Halloween characters and immersive onboard entertainment. Passengers hop off at Corfe Castle Station for Halloween slime-making before rejoining the train to continue the adventure. Designed to be fun rather than frightening, tickets also include Freedom of the Line travel on standard services that day, with an optional £5 Flying Scotsman static viewing upgrade available until 5pm.
