Peterborough Local Group Event: Winter Birdlife of Fen Drayton Lakes

A guided lakeside birdwatching walk at RSPB Fen Drayton Lakes looking for wintering wildfowl, migrants and possibly a Starling murmuration.

The Peterborough Local Group of the Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs and Northants leads a two-hour birdwatching walk around RSPB Fen Drayton, a complex of lakes beside the River Great Ouse. The group will take the trails and visit the hide to see wintering wildfowl such as Goldeneye, while checking hedgerows for migrants like Waxwings and Fieldfare. If the evening is crisp, participants may catch a Starling murmuration while enjoying an included hot drink and biscuit. Parking charges apply for RSPB non-members.
