Winter Birdwatch
About
A guided winter birdwatching walk through Wilder Doddington led by birders Matt Capper and Matt Vickers.
Expert birders Matt Capper, Wilder Doddington's Conservation Adviser, and local birder Matt Vickers lead a morning birdwatch exploring the Wilder Doddington landscape beyond the public footpaths. The group will look for Redwings and Fieldfares in the hedgerows, wildfowl and waders such as Snipe and Lapwing on the wetlands, and farmland birds including Skylark, Yellowhammer and Reed Bunting, with the chance of a passing Peregrine or Sparrowhawk. No experience is needed, just an interest in birds and wildlife, and participants should bring binoculars if they have them.
