About
Newcastle trio Knats bring their 'Geordie Jazz' sound to Future Yard for a live show on Saturday 21 November 2026.
Knats are a hard-hitting trio from Newcastle upon Tyne blending rock grit, jazz fusion and club grooves into what they call 'Geordie Jazz'. Formed by bassist Stan Woodward, drummer King David Ike-Elechi and trumpeter Ferg Kilsby, they released their acclaimed self-titled debut in 2025 and their second album, A Great Day In Newcastle, in May 2026. The band has toured with Geordie Greep and was nominated for Jazz Newcomer of the Year at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards.
