Valentines Mansion Open Days

Free public opening of the Grade II* mansion's period rooms on Sundays and Mondays, with a self-guided audio tour.

Valentines Mansion opens to the public twice a week, on Sundays and Mondays, with free entry. Visitors can walk the period-furnished rooms, including a recreated Victorian kitchen and a Georgian bedchamber, follow a sounds trail through the house, and use an audio tour by scanning a code in each room to hear the stories of the mansion's previous owners. Opening hours change with the season: 12pm to 5pm from March to October, and 11am to 3pm from November to February. Dogs other than guide dogs are not admitted. The house occasionally closes for private events.
