Meet Me at The Met
About
A fortnightly social arts group for over 50s at The Met, with hands-on sessions ranging from puppetry and choir singing to Jesmonite and textile crafts.
Meet Me at The Met is a fortnightly Monday-morning social arts group for anyone aged 50 and over, running in roughly two-hour sessions from 11am. Each session covers a different activity led by a different facilitator — upcoming themes include eco-Jesmonite casting with Caroline Coats, Sashiko-inspired Japanese stitching with Natsuko Arai-Hannaway, air-dry clay with Ruth Burnham and festive wool, card and bead garland-making with Toubie Jack. Complimentary teas and coffees are provided, and spaces are limited so participants must book in advance.
