Kilgrimol Crafts: Block Printing

A three-hour hands-on block printing workshop at Aunty Social, part of the Kilgrimol Heritage Crafts series exploring endangered crafts.

Living History enthusiast Heather leads this session on block printing, a traditional craft of hand-printing designs onto textiles or paper using carved wooden blocks. Participants will create their own designs and blocks using a modern wood alternative, then print their patterns onto fabric with modern inks. The workshop is part of the Kilgrimol: Heritage Crafts collection, inspired by the Heritage Crafts Red List of endangered crafts, and includes all materials, tuition, drinks and snacks.
