DJ Open Decks with Our Vinyl Weighs a Ton

A free open decks session where visitors can bring their own vinyl and learn to DJ with Joe Florek's Our Vinyl Weighs a Ton.

Joe Florek brings his Our Vinyl Weighs a Ton open decks event to the British Music Experience's Star Cafe as part of its expanded Sunday afternoon programme. Running since 2012 around the North West, the session celebrates inclusivity and a love of all music genres. Everyone is welcome to bring five 7-inch records or three 12-inch records, and Joe will show participants how to use the decks, with the ethos that DJing is easy and anyone can do it.
