Upper Gallery Tours
About
Free volunteer-led 30-minute tours every Tuesday introducing the Upper Gallery and the permanent collection at the Victoria Art Gallery.
Join volunteers for a 30-minute introduction to the Upper Gallery at the Victoria Art Gallery, running every Tuesday with sessions at 11am and 1:30pm. The tours cover highlights of the permanent collection, from Tudor portraits and works by Thomas Gainsborough to The Watersplash, the portrait of Anna Bilinska and the 18th-century Lichfield Clock. Set in the Victorian gallery, the space displays paintings from the 15th century to today alongside ceramics, glass and an open-storage display of decorative art. The tours are free and aimed at both regular visitors and first-timers.
