MBAS Christmas Fatstock Sale

The 74th annual Christmas Fatstock Show & Sale at Melton Mowbray Livestock Market, with livestock and produce judging, auctions and a Christmas market day.

The Melton & Belvoir Agricultural Society (MBAS) holds its 74th annual Christmas Fatstock Show & Sale at the Melton Mowbray Livestock Market on Saturday 5th December, running from 8am to 5pm alongside the Stockyard Christmas Market. Visitors can see livestock including cattle, sheep, pigs and goats, plus produce entries such as cheese, pork pies, sausages, pastries, home baking, junior baking and preserves. After judging, winners receive rosettes and prize cards and champions are presented with trophies; livestock are auctioned, and produce entries are auctioned to the general public at 2pm in the Exhibition Hall. The non-profit event raises funds for the Mayor's charities, agricultural charities and the society.
