Family Fright Night 2026

Explore the museum by torchlight to find its ghosts among spooky scarecrows and Frightful Farmers.

A family evening visit turns the museum galleries into a torchlit search for ghosts, with Spooky Scarecrows and Frightful Farmers, jump scares, dark corners and unnerving sounds. The event is intended to be fun but may unsettle some children; parental discretion is advised. Bring a torch. Wednesday 28 October, 5–7pm. Child tickets are £3, or £2 for members, and adults pay normal museum admission (members receive half-price admission).
