After Dark at the Museum
About
A family after-hours programme explores Victorian interest in ghosts and the museum’s connection to Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, with torchlit galleries, crafts and live storytelling.
Visitors explore the museum’s darkened galleries by torchlight, make spooky crafts and hear atmospheric stories. Storyteller Chloe Perry-Bartlett is billed from 17:00. The event is listed for 16:00–19:00 on 27 October 2026 and is suitable for ages 5 and over. Children pay £3.50; accompanying adults are free. Tickets are paid on the door and advance booking is not required. The programme examines Victorian fascination with ghosts and the supernatural, including Wisbech’s connection to Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
