About
Make a Japanese-style timber bench in a two-day practical woodworking course, learning to prepare components and assemble the bench with traditional joinery.
Over two days, learners shape and assemble a Japanese-style bench using housing joints and dowelled screw joints, practising planing, chiselling, sawing, sanding and finishing. All tools and materials are supplied, and the completed bench can be taken home. The two published November cohorts meet on 5 and 12 November, and 8 and 22 November.
