Southport Dramatic Club presents The Incident Room, a drama set in 1975 at Millgarth police station in Leeds during the Yorkshire Ripper investigation. Sergeant Megan Winterburn and her team battle mountains of paperwork, thousands of tip-offs and mounting pressure as the inquiry slips through their fingers. The play goes behind the headlines to explore the human cost of a flawed, pre-digital investigation and the exhausted detectives living the case.
