North Kensington Walking Tour
About
A 2.5-hour guided walking tour of North Kensington exploring its social history, architecture and communities, from Notting Hill's origins to Trellick Tower.
Led by architect and Golden Key Academy graduate Áine Grace, this 4.5km walk traces North Kensington's story from Notting Hill's rural origins through Victorian class divisions, post-war change and the Notting Hill Carnival, to 20th-century landmarks like the Westway and Trellick Tower. The tour also considers the area's 1960s counter-culture, Richard Curtis's films and the ongoing legacy of the Grenfell Tower fire. It ends at Trellick Tower and includes a visit to the Museum of Brands courtyard garden.
