Fiction Book Group reads: Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin

The shop's open fiction book group meets to discuss James Baldwin's Giovanni's Room, with a short introduction and refreshments.

Five Leaves Bookshop's fiction book group, open to everyone, meets slightly earlier than usual to close the year with James Baldwin's second novel, Giovanni's Room. A member of staff, a group regular or a guest with a special interest gives a short introduction before a casual group discussion — there is no author appearance or formal presentation. Participants are asked to read the book in advance and join in; refreshments are provided.
