Jodi Picoult visits Ely to talk about her latest novel, in which Molly Fitzgerald — orphaned when her mother was killed on September 11th 2001 — grows up to run a disaster-response department, only for catastrophe to strike close to home. The book explores the lies people tell themselves and the bonds between mothers and daughters. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start at The Lighthouse Auditorium.
