Copper Foiling Workshop with Will Burrows

A one-day copper foiling glass workshop with Will Burrows, where participants cut glass and use copper tape and solder to make a finished piece to take home.

This full-day workshop teaches the copper foiling technique popularised by Tiffany in the 1890s, used for decorative panels, sun catchers, mirrors and ornaments. Participants choose from provided patterns and a selection of coloured and textured glass, learn to cut glass, then use copper tape and solder to create seams joining the pieces together. By the end of the day each attendee has a finished piece of glass art to take home. The workshop is suitable for ages 18 and over.
