BPEC Water Disinfection & Legionella

A one-day BPEC training course at UHI Inverness covering legislation, guidance and risk assessment for legionella control in water systems.

This one-day BPEC course enables delegates to state the main legislation and guidance relevant to the control of legionella. Topics include the basic properties of water, Legionnaire's disease and the Legionella bacteria, and carrying out a risk assessment of hot and cold water systems in a building. Candidates must hold an SVQ Level 3 in plumbing or heating engineering or provide proof of experience in the sector, and should bring photo ID and two passport photos.
