About

A free photography exhibition of Hackney Carnival images from 1974 to the last carnival, shown at Chats Palace for Photomonth and its 50th anniversary.

Neil Martinson's exhibition pairs photographs from the first Hackney Marsh Fun Festival in 1974 with images from the last Hackney Carnival, tracing the history of the borough's festival tradition. It is shown at Chats Palace as part of Photomonth and the venue's 50th anniversary celebrations. The exhibition is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, is free to attend and has wheelchair access.
