Dirty Sock Puppet Workshop

A hands-on workshop with textile artist Fred Link turning old socks into custom puppets, open to all skill levels.

Textile artist Fred Link leads a two-hour hands-on workshop in which participants transform old or mismatched socks into custom puppets. The session covers basic structural tweaking, embellishment techniques and character design to give each puppet its own look and personality. Basic crafting materials, trims and tools are provided, but participants must bring their own sock(s). All skill levels are welcome and no prior sewing or puppet-making experience is needed; the event is for ages 12+, with minors supervised by a parent or guardian.
