About
Puppeteer Drew Colby leads a hands-on workshop teaching hand shadow animals and the science of shadows for ages 7+ and adults.
In this interactive workshop, puppeteer Drew Colby teaches participants how to make four specific hand shadow animals and explores the science of shadows, such as why shadows grow bigger further from the light and how small a shadow can be. Small elements of performance are woven in, and participants can ask questions and request specific shadows at the end. The session is suitable for ages 7+ and adults, running from 10am to 12pm.
