Young Visions for the Pier

A free exhibition of schoolchildren's artwork and related photographs forming the creative basis for a new metalwork mural celebrating Cromer Pier's 125th anniversary.

To mark the 125th anniversary of Cromer Pier, North Norfolk District Council has commissioned artist Kate Munro to create a metalwork mural, built from selected artworks submitted by local school students. This exhibition at Artspace on the Prom displays the original school submissions alongside photographs from a Cromer Artspace workshop led by Julia Rafferty and backstage photographs by David Morris, plus other pier-themed artworks. Visitors can see the ideas and inspirations behind the new seafront landmark before it is installed.
