About
Dunedin Consort and soprano Nardus Williams perform Handel and Bononcini arias inspired by rival 18th-century opera divas, BSL interpreted.
Dunedin Consort, directed by John Butt, explores the rivalry of 18th-century London opera singers Francesca Cuzzoni and Faustina Bordoni through Handel and Bononcini arias. Soprano Nardus Williams performs contrasting roles written for the two divas, alongside Handel's Concerto Grosso Op.6 No.6. The performance is part of Dunedin Consort's Deaf Season and will be BSL interpreted.
