About

Follow an autumn trail through Stoneywell’s garden, completing activity stations and collecting clue letters to discover who stole the witch’s wand.

The self-guided trail winds through the garden, where autumn-inspired activity stations reveal clue letters. Collect the letters to spell the culprit’s name and solve the mystery of the stolen witch’s wand. Start from the Stableyard. Booking is not needed. The trail itself is free, but admission to Stoneywell applies; pre-booking a visit is required. The garden has steep slopes and steps, and the National Trust advises sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate layers.
