About

A self-guided autumn family trail explores the stories behind plants such as deadly nightshade and witch hazel across the Canons Ashby grounds.

Follow an outdoor trail about the stories and properties of plants including deadly nightshade and witch hazel. Visitors can collect a trail sheet at reception in the main car park; a small gift is available at the end. The route crosses grass, slopes and uneven ground, so dress for the weather. The trail costs £3 per trail in addition to ordinary property admission. The property is closed Monday to Wednesday inclusive in November, reflected in the published date and time slots.
