Exhibition: The Mackintosh Tearooms
About
An immersive exhibition at The Mackintosh Tearooms exploring Miss Kate Cranston's collaboration with Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Margaret Macdonald.
This exhibition tells the story of pioneering entrepreneur Miss Kate Cranston and her collaboration with architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh and artist Margaret Macdonald, who together created one of Glasgow's most iconic interiors. It explores how art, social change and enterprise shaped a new vision for modern living at the turn of the 20th century. Visitors can engage with interactive, audio and visual displays, arriving any time during opening hours (10am–4:30pm October to February). Tickets do not include refreshments, and National Trust for Scotland members enjoy free entry.
