Braimah Kanneh-Mason & Jâms Coleman: Time Held, Time Passing
About
Violinist Braimah Kanneh-Mason and pianist Jâms Coleman perform a curated recital exploring how music shapes our sense of time.
Braimah Kanneh-Mason (violin) and Jâms Coleman (piano) return to St George's Bristol with a programme entitled Time Held, Time Passing, built around pieces that treat the passage of time in different ways. The evening includes Clara Schumann's Three Romances Op 22, Beethoven's Violin Sonata in G major Op 30 No 3, Pärt's Spiegel im Spiegel and Fratres, Robert Schumann's Violin Sonata No 1 in A minor Op 105, and Debussy's Violin Sonata in G minor. The duo describe the programme as an invitation to hear time slightly differently across a single evening. Suitable for ages 14+.
