Wine Club - Wines from Italy

A guided Italian wine tasting tracing the history of Italian wines from Roman times to today, presented by Ashley Hall.

The Concorde's November Wine Club tasting is presented by Ashley Hall, Wines & Spirits Manager at Carlsberg Britvic. He explores the evolution of Italian wines from Roman times to the present day, looking at how regional differences in grape varieties, styles and production methods stem from the smaller states that existed before modern Italy was formed. The session includes a tasting of wines from across Italy, spanning fresh sparkling wines, delicate rosés and bolder full-bodied reds. Doors open at 7pm with a welcome sparkler at 7.15pm and the speaker at 7.45pm.
